In 13th century, the anonymus Naumburg Master, created 12 incrediBLe, Life size statues, for the LocAL cathedraL. They are amongst the most important art works of the european miDDLe age.

Since then, a Lot of things has changed. 2 of the most importants are the birth and strenghtening of capitalism with its impersonalized and money based character, and the wider and wider range of human rights, that makes us think, and act pretty freely. In capitalism nothing matters but the profit. Numbers, percentages, CEO-s & policies. Costs, taxes, and revenues, while the REAL things are getting destroyed slowly... In this grey, rectangular world, where everything is FAKE, we r not humans, onLy costumers with certain habits to buy, that can be modified by ads. In the other coLourfuL worLD, we r incrediBLe LiViNG CREATURES, unique individuaLS, whos can express themself on the fullest! We can be ourself, we can TraveL, we can Love, we can think, we can create... For example we can paint the streets! And we can paint whatever, and however we want! Not just a realistiC jesus, as it was before...

For me these 2 directions are - pretty muCH - the 2 extremes. The uLTimate good, and the uLTimate evil within us. ...and it seems like, these 2 are hand in hand. Just as u can c on my piece... My heart, my soul, my thoughts, freeLy painted out, on a mass produced, brand new, even wrapped IKEA board, that i found on the streets. As a result of overconsumption. Would this piece existe whitout this? Probably, but would be the same? Would be the same without the small cutouts from mass produced supermarket flyers, that try to convince us to buy things that we dont need? Or lets go a bit further! Would i be able to paint whole week, if the supermarket bins wouldnt feed me? WouLD u buy my pieces? Or even further! Would spray paint, posca markers, or street art even existe without capitalizm?

From here comes the questions: is it good like this? Must the woRLD be like this? If not, can we change? Can we eliminate the eviL without damageing the good? Or can we reduce it? Can we find a better Balance, or this is the best we can do? Or everything we think is wrong, and all needs to be replaced?
